What it solves

Retail is no longer only physical. If your team already audits the shelf in store, it makes sense to audit the digital shelf too, with the same criteria and in the same place.

One single history

Digital visits feed the same reports, charts and health score as on site ones. There are no two systems to reconcile.

No duplicated work

Record as you browse. No need to take notes and write them up somewhere else afterwards.

Comparable context

The same brands and products from the workspace catalogue, so the numbers are comparable across channels.

Brand co-occurrence

By analysing several brands in one session you learn which brands share space with yours online.

New locations on the spot

If the online store does not exist in the workspace yet, you can create it without leaving the extension.

Report ready

Every digital visit is available through the API and in PDF reports, like any other visit.

How it works

Three steps, without leaving the page you are looking at.

  1. Open the online store

Navigate to the product or category page you want to analyse and click the extension icon.

  2. Pick the location and brands

Search the location by name and select the brands from your catalogue that you are analysing on that page.

  3. Mark the products and submit

For each brand record the products found and the state of each one. The visit shows up in Visit Dock straight away.

Frequently asked questions

Does the extension read the pages I visit?

The extension is opened by you, when you decide to record a visit, and what gets stored are the brands and products you mark. Browsing history is not collected.

Do I need to install it on every computer?

Yes, the extension is installed per browser. Authorisation is done once per installation and lasts 90 days.

Does it work on any online store?

Do digital visits count towards the health score?

They do. To Visit Dock they are ordinary visits, only with the channel marked as digital.

What if the online store is not in Visit Dock yet?

You can create the location from the extension itself, without interrupting the recording.
